How to read your estimate?

This tool gives you an order of magnitude based on publicly available average rates. For a precise calculation using official ADII rates, please refer to the official simulator.

How does this tool work?

The estimator applies average rates for import duty (DI), domestic consumption tax (TIC) and VAT (20%) drawn from the ADII's public schedules, based on vehicle type, fuel and engine size. The depreciation deduction is calculated according to the vehicle's age.

Why a range instead of a fixed amount?

The official ADII schedule depends on the precise HS code (Harmonised System) of your vehicle, the customs-assessed value (which may differ from the declared price), and any specific measures that may apply. The ±25% range covers these variations.

What fees are included?

The estimate includes: DI (import duty), TIC (domestic consumption tax for combustion vehicles), VAT (20% on the taxable base) and TPA (parafiscal tax 0.25%). ChronoConvoi transport fees, insurance and customs release costs are not included.

For an official calculation

The official ADII simulator (www.douane.gov.ma) provides an estimate based on up-to-date official customs schedules. We strongly recommend using it to validate your budget before making any purchase decision.

Important — this estimator is not an official document

The results displayed are calculated from indicative average rates and do not constitute a contractual commitment. Only the ADII can determine the exact amount of duties and taxes due. Always consult the official ADII simulator before making any decision.
